Karcher planted its roots in Germany in 1935. In 1950, Europe's first hot water high pressure cleaner was patented by Alfred Karcher. Karcher began ground-breaking work with commercial vehicle washes in 1982, and by 1994 had launched the first genuine high-pressure vehicle wash in Europe. In the year 2000, Karcher introduced the CHH 8000, which has now become the gold standard in touch-free washing throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
